NHK Laboratories, Inc., Santa Fe Springs, CA, was recently awarded GMP registration by NSF International, Ann Arbor, MI. The NSF GMP Certification program provides testing of products to verify the identity and quantities of dietary ingredients on product labels, ensures the product does not contain undeclared ingredients or unacceptable levels of contaminants, and demonstrates conformity to currently recommended GMPs for dietary supplements. The registration is given after NSF completes a plant audit to verify true compliance with all GMPs, and will conduct a monitoring audit to ensure continued conformance with all regulations.
